CBC COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

ASSESSMENT INSTRUCTIONS

This is the Final Assessment for CBC. If competent (Pass), candidates will attain the CBC Qualification.

Pre-requisite: Candidates has completed 10 Credit Value (CV) of the CBC Course and the End-of-Course Training Evaluation Form OR entry by Assessment Only Pathway (AOP) / Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Assessment Mode:

  1. Online Assessment with Invigilator/Proctoring.

  2. It is an Open-Book Assessment. Candidates may refer to both online and offline materials.

  3. The assessment will comprise a total of 10 questions.

  4. The assessment will require the use of both virtual meeting platforms (Zoom) and Canvas Learning Management System.

  5. Prepare and Setup Zoom (Technical Requirements & User Guide) before the assessment.

  6. Candidates are advised to arrive join the virtual meeting 15 minutes before the assessment for attendance taking and briefing of Assessment Instructions.

  7. No extra time will be compensated for late-comers

  8. If candidates are late for more than 15 minutes, they will have to retake the assessment at the next available schedule.

  9. Any failure to comply with assessment instructions will be deemed as an dishonest act and leading to termination of qualification and results.

  • Day 3 Afternoon of CBC Main Track

  • Next Assessment Date & Time: 27 Feb 2021 | 4pm - 6pm (2 hours)

Assessment/Re-assessment Fee: SGD $100 | USD $80

Assessment Structure: Written Test

Question & Scoring Structure:

  • 10 Open Ended Questions

  • A total of 100 points.

  • 10 points for each question.

  • Candidates shall attempt ALL questions

Attempt: There is only ONE (1) attempt.

Passing/Competent Criteria: To score 70% & above.

Assessment Results Legend:

  • Competent: Candidate have passed the Examination.

  • Not Yet Competent: Candidate have not passed the Examination.

  • Withdrawn: Candidate has withdrawn from the Examination.

Assessment Results Release: Will be available 14 days after the examination date.

Assessment Appeal: A written appeal is to be submitted to the Academic & Examination Board at aeb@ibs.edu.sg within 14 days upon receiving the results

Assessment Appeal Results: The Academic & Examination Board will respond within 7 days upon receiving the appeal.
