AcAdemic & Examination BOARD (AEB)

The Academic & Examination Board (AEB) is a neutral body of the Institute and it is involved in:

• developing the policies and procedures to ensure academic quality and rigor such as: 

  • (i) Ensuring that the content and duration of the modules or learning units, as well as the entry and graduation requirements, of the course are appropriate; and 

  • (ii) Approving the deployment of Associate Adult Educators/Facilitators/Trainers

• facilitating the Institute to implement and comply with the policies and procedures developed; and 

• reviewing, at least twice a year, the academic policies and procedures. 

• ensure the security of assessment questions and answer scripts

• ensure the proper conduct of assessments; 

• define and ensure the proper discharge of duties and responsibilities of proctors and assessors; and 

• handle appeals from learners with regard to assessment matters.
